Description
Set up, operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments such as balances, mixers, pressurized consistometers, ultrasonic cement analyzers, static gel strength analyzers, fluid loss testers, viscometers, and other equipment. Understand and follow API10B standard. Under direct supervision receives and follows specific detailed instructions to conduct routine laboratory tests. Able to create report for the test results. Carries out all required responsibilities safely and as described in the standard operations manual. Ensure a safe working environment when handling chemicals. Good housekeeping skills. Ensure that laboratory equipment used is calibrated according to maintenance procedures. Ensure safe working conditions.
