Description
Operational Logistics manager from the Food manufacturing / Production Industry WANTED.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Daily Picking
Ensuring Productivity levels are maintained
Ensuring Orders due are dispatched as per back order
Responsible for Reporting
Responsible for ensuring site, warehouse, vehicles, machinery etc are cleaned, maintained and in working order
Management of vehicles and forklift maintenance and services
Ensuring all stock are received, recorded, GRV'ed and Packed within 48 hours of arrival
Ensuring all stock are managed on FIFO basis
Ensuring purchases are planned and to maintain optimal stock levels at all times
Ensuring full compliance at all times with all Food Safety systems, health and safety regulations, ETQM and company policies.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification
- 5+ years Operational experience
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
- Own transport
- Proven management / supervisor experience
- Computer literate with ERP system experience w
- Knowledge of Food safety or Health and Safety compliances
- Knowledge managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and disciplinary
Education:
Diploma (required)
Experience:Operations management: 3 years (required)
- Logistics Management: 3 years (required)
- Warehouse Management: 3 years (required)
- Food Manufacturing or Food Production Industry: 3 years (required)
- Food safety Standards: 3 years (required)
Language:
- Afrikaans and English Fluently (required)
