FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

PORTO

Our Porto office is located in Portugal's vibrant second city, known for its history and its creative yet cosy environment. You can have an informal meeting in the treehouse or play the piano during your lunch break!

THE ROLE

This role will have extensive global reach consolidating across 7 countries, supporting in business partnering Global Ops, one of the key pillars to the success of Farfetch. You will work closely with Global Ops and Accountancy teams, learning how to measure efficiencies and build support tools to increase finance visibility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the Creative Operations' partners with P&L reporting, monthly dashboard update, bringing meaningful analysis and approaches whenever suitable or needed.
  • Support the Creative Operations' partners during reforecast, 3-Year plan, latest view, and budget processes.
  • Collect data, creating different scenarios and analysis, and ensuring the main deliverables on time along the process.
  • Ensure the quality of the data produced, working with accountancy team and the Creative Operations' partners to ensure that all costs are booked in the right place.
  • Support the business with new projects as they arise and collecting data, providing analyses, always ensuring the quality of data provided.
  • Provide robust financial information to support interpretation in Executive Board Meetings.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Degree in Management or Economics or any other related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an analyst / controller in a multinational company (preferential).
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of financial terminology.
  • Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) (SQL knowledge valued).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker valued).
  • Used to work as a team with the ability to work with different departments.
  • Dynamic, responsible and communicative.
  • Ability to deal with stress and volatility.
