The school is bilingual (English/Spanish) at all stages, and follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in Primary. Within Spain, the Brains International Schools Group is ranked among the top 20 schools, as well the top 100 companies to work for.
We are currently seeking a temporary Primary teacher of English to begin immediately. This vacancy has arisen because of an absence due to illness.
All applicants should be:
Fluent English speakers
Fully qualified Primary teacher, with certification from a recognised national body, preferably with qualifications validated by the Spanish Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
Only applicants who hold full Spanish/EU work and residence staus will be considered for this post.
Experience in PYP world schools, a knowledge of project based learning, the use of technology in the classroom and the ability to work as part of a large team, as well as a willingness to demonstrate versatility and positivity, are highly valued attributes in our school.
A knowledge of Spanish will be seen as advantageous but certainly not necessary.
