- we are looking for a Purchasing Controller who will be driving and improving vendor sales whilst meeting the vendor and company objectives and targets. You will micro manage all layers of the sales channel and improving product depth and market share for all tiers. you will focus on maintaining current business relationships, improve inactive accounts and create new business opportunities. you will be aware of all project bids and target Ingram Micro involvement in them._
What value are you going to add to Ingram Micro:**
Purchasing_
- _
You will be raising and physical placement of orders as per agreed purchasing schedule_ - _
You will Expedite shipments_ - _
You will handle sales order backlog management to ensure maximum fill rates_ - _
You will communicate vendor backlog dates on the system and to PM and ST_ - _
You are going to be responsible on imports for short shipments, damages, etc - their escalation and resolution_ - _
You will liaise with insurers along with logistics manager on short shipments_ - _
You will follow the table of authorization for purchasing_ - _
You will be responsible for the classification of stocks and editing as necessary_ - _
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining lead times_
Logistics_**

You will set up logistics for new vendors and liase with Logistics teams_ - _
You are going to be responsible for freight from the origin to JBL warehouse or customer location if direct ship_ - _
You will follow import procedures_ - _
You are going to be responsible for landed costs along with Logistics and Finance_
Reporting**
- _
You will be sending timely reporting and monthly reports to maximize rebates
Rotations_**
- _
You will follow rotations procedure for assessing rotation profitability_ - _
You will liaise with Products marketing and vendors to finalize rotations_ - _
You will liaise with logistics manager for correct rotation procedures_ - _
You will complete the rotation timetable and owns this until the company receive a credit note_ - _
You will handle the completion of destruction if the rotation is not applicable_
System maintenance_**

You will be entering new part numbers and following part number procedures_ - _
You will complete control of average costs adjustment either on ageing or PP claims_ - _
You will handle data entry of backlog dates and ensure customer service are informed of delays for large deals_
Contracts_**

You will update contract on file and liase with vendor and PM to renegotiate if applicable_ - _
You will be maintaining the latest & signed contract in the vendor contract file and summary sheet_
Here's what it takes to be one of the team:_**

You have a bachelor’s degree in purchasing, supply chain, or related_ - _
You have 6 months to 4 years of experience in a Purchasing role_ - _
You have IT background is a plus_ - _
You are Fluent in the English language_ - _
You are the result and Details Oriented_ - _
You have a customer Impact top of mind mindset_
