Job description
- Work towards delivering technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines in a stipulated time frame, e.g. labeling, dispensing, and collection of prescriptions.
- Assist pharmacist with the review of prescription and patient medical history to ensure its clinical appropriateness.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with other members of healthcare professionals e.g. telemedicine providers on necessary prescription interventions.
- Deliver efficient dispensary operations and minimise dispensing losses.
- Maintain standard procedures for mixing and packaging of medicines to ensure quality and proper disposal.
- Respond to patient inquiries and refer them to the pharmacist for medical information.
- Optimise patient care and recommend supplements in the best interests of the patient.
- Respect confidentiality of information concerning patients as well as healthcare providers.
- Handle simple inventory control, e.g. verifying receipt, organizing stock level, and removing outdated pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with standards.
Minimum qualification - Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work under pressure and short lead time.
- Work ethics that is focused, productive and detail-oriented.
- Must be available to work all shifts as scheduled. Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: RM8.00 - RM10.00 per hour
