What you will be doing:
Together with a team of expert craftspeople, you are responsible for mixing custom blends of paints from a library of over 50 colours. You will ensure that your custom colours match 100% to the items being restored. Your other responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and preparing leather goods and bags for restoration
  • Mixing and matching custom blends of paint colour
  • Hand painting and/or spraying of paint and other chemicals
  • Keeping the workshop and your personal work area clean and tidy
  • Assisting in ad-hoc projects as needed
  • Working closely with other cross-functional partners, including Logistics, Warehouse Operations and Merchandising Teams

What you need:
You should have 1 to 2 years of experience and a demonstratable high degree of proficiency in colour matching work on any physical medium, as well as:

  • A background in Fine Arts is advantageous
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a pair of steady hands
  • Passion for leather working and/or restoration/repair work
  • Pride in being a skilled craftsperson and in your work
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Be an excellent team player while being able to work independently
  • Positive can-do attitude with good problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer literacy in programs such as Microsoft Excel

If you have experience in leather goods repair and/or restoration, great! But if not, we will provide training if you are selected to be part of the team.
