The Global Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (CoE) is uniquely positioned at the core of Supply Chain and plays a leading role to continuously position Supply Chain as world-class. This is achieved through the understanding and implementation of cutting-edge technology and practices across the Supply Chain value chain, combined with a robust people development programme and a strong link to the overall company objectives. This role is responsible for partnering with HR to define, develop, implement, and maintain a Supply Chain development programme which builds the talent and capability required for the future of Supply Chain. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing a consistent approach and support for change management across all Supply Chain initiatives, including continuous improvement and transformation.

  • Job Description
  • Co-develop and maintain the Supply Chain Capability Framework in partnership with HR
  • Deliver the supply chain capability development program in partnership with HR
  • Lead Continuous/ Business Improvement opportunities/interventions with Supply Chain BU and global teams spanning across at least 2/3 supply chain functions (Plan, Source/Procure, Deliver/Logistics)
  • Provide advisory support with defining new ways of working, enabling systems, tools and templates and advanced analytics to build capability.
  • Conduct broad scanning activities to keep up to date with innovative approaches and opportunities.
  • Advise on effective data analysis and benchmarking for improvement.
  • Provide advisory support for compiling best practice definitions through research and data analysis
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional teams to advise and address issues, glean insights from users and drive focus on continuous improvement.
  • Compile advisory reports and dashboards to ensure delivery of digital and analytical solutions.
  • Qualifications
  • Significant supply chain experience as a high performer and manager in at least 2/3 Supply Chain Disciplines (Planning, Source/Procure, Deliver/Logistics)
  • Degree qualified or equivalent with Continuous Improvement / Business Improvement experience gained in a complex global organisation
  • Lean/ 6 Sigma experience / business improvement qualifications
  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across a range of settings from 1-on-1 to large group
  • Strong Commercial/Planning/Sourcing understanding and Project Management skills.
