About the job
The Credit Transaction Management (CTM) Covenant Analyst is responsible for providing essential support on the follow-up, and registration of the Covenants associated to the Structured Credits, contributing to the permanent control and monitoring of the Credit Risk. Provide appropriate risk reporting as required by Business, Risk, Bank Management.
Your Main Activities Are
- Work collaboratively with Front Office, Credit Analysts, Deal Implementation Team to take in charge the Covenants follow-up and monitoring after implementation of the deal
- Identify within the Credit Agreement, with the assistance of FO/CA, the covenants to be monitored
- Input such covenants in the IT Tool Covenant Manager (CM)
- Collect necessaries information linked to covenants (compliance certificates, Financial Statements, Specific Report )
- Update covenants values/information
- Control monitoring of such covenants (breach and overdue) and report them appropriately
- Monitoring of credit/ counterparty risks with reportings dedicated to Business & Risk
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Accounting, Business and Management
- Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- Understanding of Financial products
- Good understanding of risk concepts and methodologies is preferable
- Display good relationship qualities, team spirit, and ability to work across teams and in an “extended” organization
- Flexibility to adapt to a new and changing environment
- Rigorous and very organized
- Excel/PC skills with proven ability to work with multiple systems
- Fluent in English
- French is desirable
