Description
Quantity Surveying & Cost Mgr. with an Hons Deg. in QS or equivalent - MUST be registered with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP); & eight yrs of exp. in HIG RISE Construction Projects & cost management within the Built Environment.
Provide estimate and cost planning and present the final cost plan to the Senior Manager
Work closely with the Procurement Division and Legal Services Department regarding the tendering activities, including the pre-qualification stage, drafting of the tender list, compilation of tender preliminaries, tender analysis, development of the tender report and contributing to the contractual documents.
Perform pre
- and post-contract quantity surveying duties - preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation and final account.
Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports outlining the sourcing strategy for corporate real estate.
Contribute to the preparation and delivery of tender bids to the market.
Review programme and project costing for accuracy and analyze valuations on larger projects.
