Ø Sound experience in Magento and knowledge of other platforms like Prestashop, OpenCart etc. would be an added benefit.
Ø Understanding of Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components.
Ø Authoring and extending extensions/modules.
Ø Thorough experience in customizing Magento’s front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates.
Ø Should be able to create new extensions/modules and plugins in.
Ø Should have worked with Responsive layouts/themes.
Ø Familiar with technologies including HTML5, CSS3, webservices, JavaScript, JavaScript Framework and hybrid mobile app development.
Ø Working knowledge in shopping cart development with shipping, and Payment Gateway Integration for E-commerce websites.
Ø Advanced performance optimization for high traffic environment.
