New Hire - Legal Counsel
- Dubai, United Arabi Emirates_
Profile Required
- Bachelors in Law;
- Minimum of five years’ experience, preferably in the GCC;
- Fluent in Arabic and English, French is a plus;
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred;
- Experience in reviewing and drafting contracts, corporate and commercial law, litigation, and employment law;
- Can work under pressure, deliver on time.
Scope of Work - Legal Counsel for Carrier entities in UAE and Qatar;
- Reporting directly to the Legal Director for the region;
- Responsible for the day-to-day legal work of the entities;
- Draft, review and revise commercial contracts;
- Drafting shareholders’ and Board resolutions;
- Implementing policies and drafting policies when needed;
- Advising the various business units on legal matters;
- Supporting and advising other functions such as finance, HR, Supply Chain, etc
- Coordinating with external counsel in relation to litigation matters, and filing
complaints when needed;
- Working with the entities to recover bad debt.
