Job summary:
Our QC team works closely with internal roleplayers on multiple client and in-house projects. They will be responsible for reviewing/editing content at different stages of the development process, as well as doing a full QC of a course on the platform - checking not only for errors and inconsistencies but also reviewing the functionality of a site/course before final sign-off.
You have:
- Copy editing and/or proofreading experience.
- Advanced spelling and grammar expertise in the English language.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Be comfortable working on different platforms and with a variety of online tools.
- Time management and ability to adhere to deadlines are essential.
- Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG).
- Experience working with different style guides, primarily APA and Oxford.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information clearly and simply.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Able to collaborate with different members across different departments.
- Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Digital education experience is a bonus.
- Additional focused training in editing/advanced grammar advantageous.
- Knowledge of eLearning platforms advantageous.
