Quality Automation Engineer (Digital)

This time we are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer. Here is what this role would require.

As an Automation Quality Engineer you can look forward to:

  • As part of an agile team, you are involved from the requirements analysis and planning to delivery and acceptance by our customers
  • You will have the opportunity to work with various team members throughout the program to ensure that quality is an integral part of processes and technology
  • You will gain experience in practices such as Pair Programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) with us every day
  • You will take responsibility for manual, exploratory, and automated tests and continuously optimize the associated processes and infrastructures
  • You are also responsible for coaching the team and our customers in agile best practices
  • You benefit from the exchange of ideas and experiences with our internal and external QA community

You bring this with you:

  • Experience in a wide range of frameworks and tools for efficient testing (Example: Selenium, Jest, Protractor, Cucumber, SQL Scripting, etc)
  • Basics for testing web, API
  • You will learn what it takes to get the job done. Whether that means going back to the drawing board with a problem or simply assuming various roles and responsibilities for a period of time
  • Experience in working with agile, lean, and/or continuous delivery approaches is desirable
  • It is an advantage if you have already left your footprint in the QA community, e.g. through conferences, meetups, blog posts, etc.
  • You feel comfortable working in remote and onsite environments.
