  • Assists the Boilermaker
  • Perform welding tasks as part of duties as Boilermaker Assistant
  • Inspect, service and maintain all structures for wear and tear and defects
  • Repairing and maintenance of equipment required for the production processes
  • Perform breakdown maintenance on all equipment
  • Install, move new equipment and modify existing equipment
  • Conducts the cleaning of equipment. Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Health & Safety/Governance and Compliance
  • Adhere to and meet all relevant safety targets and measurements within the area of responsibility
  • Adheres and enforces all health and safety regulations and report all safety hazards, accidents and incidents to relevant parties
  • Adhere to, and lead in the compliance of all Environmental, Health and Safety and all other applicable regulatory statutes, and all other safety and quality systems
  • Quality: Ensure alignment of all work processes to the required quality standards
  • Action agreed quality initiatives ensuring that they are aligned to tasks/ processes/ systems Implement corrective actions identified within specified time
