- Assists the Boilermaker
- Perform welding tasks as part of duties as Boilermaker Assistant
- Inspect, service and maintain all structures for wear and tear and defects
- Repairing and maintenance of equipment required for the production processes
- Perform breakdown maintenance on all equipment
- Install, move new equipment and modify existing equipment
- Conducts the cleaning of equipment. Inspects equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Health & Safety/Governance and Compliance
- Adhere to and meet all relevant safety targets and measurements within the area of responsibility
- Adheres and enforces all health and safety regulations and report all safety hazards, accidents and incidents to relevant parties
- Adhere to, and lead in the compliance of all Environmental, Health and Safety and all other applicable regulatory statutes, and all other safety and quality systems
- Quality: Ensure alignment of all work processes to the required quality standards
- Action agreed quality initiatives ensuring that they are aligned to tasks/ processes/ systems Implement corrective actions identified within specified time
Qualifications and Experience:
