About the job
- The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for conducting and supporting a broad scope of HR services, throughout the whole employee life cycle in BNP Paribas. The HR Generalist will support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs/tools. Ensures HR Information Systems (IS) data maintenance, employee relations and compensation & benefits administration.
- Contributes to the engagement and retention of BNP Paribas employees and aims to provide them an excellent employee experience.
Your Main Activities Are
- Conduct and support recruitment & talent sourcing activities, in proximity with the hiring managers and the HR Business Partners.
- Ensure liaison with Reward and Transformation team in the scope of processes such as internal mobility, legal entity change and/or others.
- Partner with HR management and HR Business Partners to promote the implementation of HR policies, processes and tools.
- Support career management activities, namely by answering specific employee queries, forwarding them to the proper channel and/or tool and conducting exit interviews and termination procedures.
- Contribute to the organization of HR initiatives and learning & development activities, working closely with the relevant teams.
- Ensure liaison with the HR Services & Support team to provide input for the payroll process and to contribute to the preparation of contractual documents for hiring, mobility, relocation, contract changes or termination purposes.
- Update internal databases and HR IS tools related to employees’ moves and contractual changes, as well as preparing ad-hoc reports.
Profile and Skills to Success
- Degree in Human Resources or related field (Organizational Psychology or Social Sciences)
- 1 to 3 years in a similar role in a HR department or consultancy firm
- Fully fluent in English
- IT literacy: Proficient in Ms Office Excel and Application Tracking systems (as a plus)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and analytical ability.

- Leveraging on centralized HR domestic teams and working closely with them, the HR Porto team provides consultation to management and employees on a broad scope of HR topics. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will contribute to the engagement and retention of Porto based employees and aim to provide them an excellent employee experience.
