Role Purpose
The Senior Project Manager role will provide effective and compliant management across a portfolio of projects for the our global client. The function is responsible for developing and constructing buildings for the sustainability of the business and installation of large assets.
The role will be;
Locally responsible for leading and managing all outsourced services, resolving any underperformance or issues and value-add initiatives, escalating where required.
Supporting the implementation of the strategy in country by assisting any further outsourcing opportunities. Although, for some small countries delivering in-house solutions will be required, where outsourcing is not endorsed as part of the strategy and as directed by leadership.
Responsible for reviewing, maintaining and developing contract(s) and could enhance supplier relationship(s) and support a partnership approach to improve performance.
Collaborating with and proactively managing stakeholders in the relevant functions and within our client to support the integrated planning, budgeting, service enhancements and delivery.
What this job involves
Act as technical expert of and take proactive ownership, plan, drive and manage the respective functional area.
Manage a portfolio of projects and services in line with the strategy to ensure all activities are effective
Have high-level understanding of the contract(s) and the scope of services for both the supplier(s) and Client
Lead and manage the relationship with supplier(s) as the main point of contact for the business to ensure delivery and adequate performance of services as outlined in the contract
Collaborate with the supplier(s) to resolve any unforeseen issues and/or underperformance to ensure no negative impact on the business
Ensure all operational risks are managed and maintained at a level acceptable to regional and Group Risk functions and adequate governance and processes are in place
Ownership of all required data and systems to ensure they are updated in line with processes and reporting, to allow for effective planning, tracking and implementation of decisions
Using the available MI and data analysis, drive change and innovative solutions
Accountable for capturing all data required for Managing Delivery Partner (MDP) reporting in Country and to align with Regional MDP team.
