Clout Brands is seeking a content writer with a background in the Cannabis industry. Clout Brands is the digital agency for licensed cannabis producers in Canada. We create unique user experiences for each one of our clients in order to stand out from the competition.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with our creative, product, merchandising, and marketing teams in the development of content and creative materials.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Clout Brands clients to write clear, attractive, and conversion-focused content, including newsletters, blogs, website copy, ad copy, press releases, products description, etc.
- Ensure consistency with a unique and distinct voice, style, font, and tone.
- Conduct high-quality keyword research and Use SEO principles to maximize copy's reach.
- Source images, edit and proofread copy as needed.
- Submit work to the editorial team for input and approval.
- Execute quickly.
Qualifications:
- Professional writing and/or editing experience for a B2B publication
- Accuracy in reporting and an ability to follow editorial guidelines and copy rules
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry
- 100% remote position, we prefer to work in the North American time zones
- Basic, journalism-level working knowledge of SEO and site analytics
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic image editing tools
Salary: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
