WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Are you a rigorous person, someone who has structure running through their blood?

We're currently looking to fill a Project Manager/Scrum Master position for our Montreal or Quebec City campus.

In addition to playing the role of consultant, resource person and agile coaching with the different project stakeholders, you will be responsible for facilitating the work of your Squad members and ensuring that best practices - whether they are in Agile or Waterfall mode - are implemented and respected.

As a change agent, initiating, planning and implementing various measures are your jam. Your role will consist of helping teams to increase their autonomy, their productivity and to succeed in their continual quest for improvement.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the implementation and improvement of the agile process with the rest of the PMs / SMs.
  • Ensure team productivity through collaboration and by facilitating the resolution of any form of blockers that could hinder the sprint goal.
  • Coach your team to implement a culture of continuous improvement and performance.
  • Collect, calculate and communicate the various performance indices necessary for the sound management of its projects: velocity, budget monitoring / projections (project plans) and schedule, identification of risks, dates of deliverables, etc.
  • Ensure, in collaboration with the team, the smooth running of the various Agile / Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Review and Refinement.
  • Ensure a good understanding of the requirements and priorities (product backlog / sprint) between the PO and the development team, as well as diligent monitoring by all stakeholders as the project progresses.
  • Continuously monitor the project estimates and projections and the actual estimates of the development team to promote the health of the project.
  • Implement the adoption of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban, SAFe) in the organization.
  • Collaborate with the Production Coordinator (PCO) for the assignment of team members and optimization of occupancy and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager (a.k.a Solution Director) to provide a clear picture of the progress of projects to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Solution Director in billing projects.
  • Mobilize the team and lead them to surpass themselves to maximize results and achieve objectives.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience
  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Technical and project management knowledge.
  • Bilingualism, both oral and written (French and English).
  • Sense of priorities and organization.
  • Understanding of the development process and the business value of the various components of a product.
  • Good ability to adapt and react to unexpected events.
  • Positive leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt your message to the people.
  • Excellent writing skills, good communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a sense of initiative.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail.

  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
