Description
Our client is looking for a shop assistant for their retail steel and hardware cash and carry.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Equivalent
Experience and Requirements:
- Receive stock from suppliers
- Sort out queries from suppliers on stock that was short delivered
- Check goods received vouchers and stock that comes in and unpack onto the shelves
- Ensure that the shelves are neatly packed and merchandised
- Setup displays in the shop
- Daily stock-takes
- Assist in the warehouse and on the counter if needed
- Carry out any other functions required by Management
Experience and Requirements:
- 2 or more years’ experience in a retail steel and hardware store will be an advantage
- Driver’s license
- Reliable transport
- Computer literate
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Of sober habits
- Have a stable work record and contactable references
- Young and energetic
- Reside close to Roodepoort / Surrounding areas
- Able to work retail hours
