Your key job responsibilities as the Content Writer in Johannesburg will include:
- Write and edit blog content for many types of customer personas to align with our content plans and digital strategies
- Write and edit engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Coordinate with internal teams to create copy for advertising posts
- Write video scripts for YouTube and social video
- Write comical captions and headlines for social memes from many perspectives
Requirements for this Content Writer job in Johannesburg will include:
- Proven work experience as a Journalist or similar role
- Hands-on experience writing for various social media and blogging platforms
- Basic knowledge of writing for SEO
- Ability to write for a variety of target audiences
- Ability to deliver creative content within a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Impeccable grammar
- Degree in Marketing, English, Communications or relevant field
- Must be able to show an up-to-date portfolio
