**Key responsibilities
Role Purpose
In this challenging position you are:
The Inspector Incoming Goods is responsible for receiving all parts into Pentagon ERP. Additionally, he or she is responsible for inspecting all aircraft parts in accordance with the applicable airworthiness requirements and standards as well as internal procedures and instructions. Next to that you will support with the daily warehouse operations to fulfil the operational request of the end user. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and will liaise closely with the Supply Chain and Operational Team.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Manage store operations whilst achieving outstanding performance in the field of incoming goods inspection.
Manage and complete inspection of incoming goods; overall responsibility for inbound logistics, storage of parts and materials, and tool management.
Picking and posting items to the end-user
- Solve issue and non-conformance generation, if necessary.
- Work in close cooperation in the field of continuous improvement and lean.
- Perform any duties as assigned by the Company
Qualification / Expertise / Skills
- Diploma or equivalent Certification with experience in required field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in either Aviation-Aerospace or Airline-Aviation industry.
- Experience in usage of ERP systems is necessary.
- Process Airworthiness Administration (L11/L12), with aviation training (i.e. human factors, aviation awareness, dangerous goods would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of incoming inspection / shipping and freight forwarding.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Well versed in Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word & ERP)
