Position Overview
Key focus shall be in Pricing & related analytics with respect to group reinsurance, assist with pricing tools (development, maintenance and enhancement) and preparation of Dashboards
Responsibilities:
- Involved in day-to-day pricing activity of group life/ credit life schemes - Assist with reviewing draft treaty terms in line with the offer made to the clients - Generate pricing dashboards on quarterly basis - Assist in generating MIS on a quarterly basis - Manage and review the Pricing tools, update on timely basis and share with clients - Maintenance of client pricing tools considering each client’s requirements/specifications and clarify any queries with respect to usage of the tools - Maintain a log of client pricing tools versions and documentation of changes, checks/validation done before rolling out the tools to the clients - Periodical audit to ensure clients are using the tool appropriately - Produce Pricing Database on quarterly basis and report to Admin - Resolve any queries from admin team related to group life/credit life deals - Do review of the inputs for deals priced off the client pricing tools and referred to RGA for pricing competitiveness or other reasons - Produce production reports to monitor client’s tool usage and their conversion to business for RGA - Desktop research to support development of pricing basis for new markets/products where not much directly relevant data is available - Ad-hoc data and analytical support to internal admin, underwriting and claim functions - Provide over-flow support for other pricing/reporting activities as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics or Statistics or Economics or Finance - Good progress with professional actuarial examinations - Prior experience in data analytics/pricing role in an insurance/reinsurance setup will be a plus - Intermediate to Advanced command of Microsoft Office Excel and Access - Basic knowledge of VBA - Exposure to data analytical tools and any actuarial modelling software will be a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong ability to work in a team and take a proactive role to improve quality and efficiency
