Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
- Fraud Detection and Prevention as well as profiling identified fraud syndicates and MO’s
- Assist senior fraud risk analyst with creation and maintenance of appropriate fraud rules
- Monitoring fraud within acquisition
- Identify process gaps and put measures in place to mitigate fraud risk
- Maintain a strong relationship within the operational fraud area and understand their investigative techniques
- Assist Senior Fraud Risk Analyst with escalations from Fraud Operations Team
- Use data-oriented approach to collaborate with others in solving complex business problems around profitability, marketing, risk, and fraud analysis
- Perform data-oriented ‘what if’ and ‘ad-hoc’ analysis to support business strategy optimization in fraud risk team
- Documenting and maintaining fraud processes
- Assist with Fraud Training
Qualifications & Accreditations
- Degree with maths/stats/engineering preferred but not required
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years' working experience as a fraud risk analyst
- Advanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel
- Project management skills
