Description
We’re looking for a creative and dedicated Content Manager who will be a catalyst in managing our content creation. You’ll need to be a curious self-starter, but also collaborative when tasked with solving larger creative challenges. We’ll expect you to be intrigued by growing trends in the e-sport and sports betting industry and finding inventive ways to tell stories that resonate with the world.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing overall content management strategy and operations, from creation and feedback for editing through approvals, publishing/activation, auditing, measurement, curation and maintenance
- Partner with search engine optimization (SEO) to create content that will rank highly for important keywords
- Write weekly newsletters, and be responsible with schedules as well as click and open rates
- Define the content strategy (best assets in market, maximizing KPIs, etc.)
- Provide operational support for content strategy and creation, engaging cross-functional participants and managing meeting and resource schedules, workflows, and deadlines
- Define, support, and evangelize corporate brand and content governance practices
- Define our brand content strategy across all channels. You will own the editorial calendar and strategy
- Ensure all content that goes out the door is accurate and intelligent
- Develop co-branded content with partners
- Act as the owner of all blog content
- Ensure all content calendars, schedules, etc. are set to fit with the sporting events that will get the most coverage
- Provide and report on content measurement using Web analytics tools, marketing automation, and content management systems make recommendations for optimizing content quality, processes, and activation channels
- Ability to successfully juggle multiple projects
- Manage a high volume of work, and make progress on important strategic initiatives, while quickly responding to shifting business needs
- Work with our promotion and social teams to produce content for their needs/strategy
- Use metrics to establish, validate and iterate on your content strategy. You should have comfort and experience using content metrics
- Proactively manage/lead your own team’s workload with mínimal oversight. You’re a reliable, accountable manager who knows how to get things done and meet deadlines
- Leading internal strategy and brainstorm sessions
- Ability to communicate effectively with direct manager and upper management, and synthesize relevant information on key milestones, success criteria, and risks
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional content management experience
- Strong writing and editing skills, and understanding of the sports betting space
- SEO knowledge related to website content
- Experience working cross-functionally, partnering closely with design, promotion, and social teams and the ability to get buy-in from stakeholders in and outside of marketing
- Bachelor’s degree
- Spanish and English (Bilingual)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Editing softwares, and content management systems (CMS)
