We would like to lead this journey, connecting with our current and future contact lens wearers by driving strategic partnerships with our retailer customers to enable us to connect with contact lenses customers in both the traditional bricks and mortar and the e-commerce channels.
Therefore, we are expanding our team and seeking for an International Sr Key Account Manager - Europe Middle East Africa.
EssilorLuxottica / GrandVision represent a significant part of our EMA fits and sales. This role is responsible to manage this customer day by day for the short-medium term as we create the strategic partnership to significantly accelerate category growth and unlock penetration in the long term.
Responsible for supporting the EMA markets to shape strategies for selected EMA Strategic Key Accounts to drive accelerated growth. Coordination role for global contract negotiations and operations.
Operate as a Center of excellence for Key Account Management, disseminating best practices, setting the benchmark for EMA and developing critical capabilities in the Key Account community.
This role has a strategic impact on the EMA business results by supporting the most complex and largest account in the region, and having strategic responsibility for this channel, often coordinating work across complex multifunctional teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supporting the relationship with EssilorLuxottica / GrandVision from a Regional Perspective, creating the platform for countries to drive growth and execute their local JBP’s. Work closely to regional stakeholders, both internally and at the customer to identify opportunities, influence and remove roadblocks
- Support markets to deploy strategies with Top 18 Key Accounts through different engagement forums, such as: run Strategic Workshops, engage on monthly calls with markets, Ka advisory board etc, in order to help them meet their annual BP objectives and achieve sales, volume, share and profitability targets.
- Support local KA team in gaining agreement to strategic growth plans (JBP - joint business plan) with customers to deliver against the EMA strategy and maintain/monitor Commercial plans with few strategic customers at all levels to maximize on opportunities for partnership and sustainable growth.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance our value proposition and business solutions to our Key Accounts across the region
- Support markets by engaging in in-market Strategic meetings with their top Key accounts per request
- Operate as a center of excellence for Key Account Management, disseminating best practices and setting the benchmark for EMA. Liaise with the Commercial Learning and Development department to build the training and capability agenda to ensure competitive advantage.
- Supporting the Key Account team across the region ensuring the organization follows the accurate processes, for developing, setting, agreeing and tracking their JBP's
- Support markets to explore and build new channels (e.g: pharmacies) or new business opportunities
- Ensures that the organization is Credo focused and motivated to win, acting always in compliance and business integrity.
Qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelor degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of Key Account management experience OR experience in Key Accounts (also less than 5Y) in combination with a 5Y+ experience in functions which closely collaborate with Key Accounts like, for example, Sales, (Trade) Marketing, Category management, Commercial finance or Professional Affairs is required.
- Experience in Vision Care, OTC or FMCG is required
- A previous experience in roles with high international exposure is a plus
- Track record of success in delivering results, managing budgets, coordinating complex multifunctional teams
- Excellent negotiation skills
