Description
Our client based in Randburg requires an AP lead for a two month contract. This role could be extended further.
To lead a team within the Account Payable department to ensure that processes are followed as per group strategy policies and procedures.
To manage a seamless flow of accounting principles that supports business with accurate cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, invoice management and vendor payments, whilst building and maintaining a sound working relationship with all business units and external vendors, including the management of a full functioning Accounts Payable team.
Communicate Accounts Payable Month-end Reports to Heads of Finance, Segment CFO and Group CFO
Communicate Payment Reports and Trade Payable with vendors regarding status of payments and exceptions thereof and resolve any discrepancies
Communicate with employees, Cost Centre Managers, Finance Managers, Head of Department, Heads of Finance, Segment/Group CFO’s and CEO to secure appropriate information and approval for payments, aligned to Procurement Policy
Communication with Procure to Pay team to ensure adherence to OLAs and SLA
