National Warehousing and Logistics Company is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager (Cape Town)
- Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To supervise the movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials within the company as well as planning routes, analyzing budgets, and processing goods.

Requirements & Competencies

  • University Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management
  • 10 Years’ Experience in a Similar Role
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Must be presentable.
  • Fluent in English (writing; reading and speaking)
  • Ability to work Independently and under pressure.
  • Strong Problem-Solving abilities
  • Strong Numeracy and Analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Well versed in MS Offices suites, including PowerPoint
  • Business Intelligence Software experience would be an advantage.
  • Matric Mathematics
  • Fully Vaccinated

Key responsibility Areas:

  • Reporting into the General Manager, the Logistics Manager is responsible for the FULL running of the Logistics Division including but not limited to:

  • Directly Managing an Administrative Team of 6 employees

  • Manage the Call Centre
  • Oversee Fleet Planning
  • Oversee Route Planning
  • Oversee Client and Supplier Administration processes
  • Strictly enforce all deadlines
  • Responsible for Profitability of the Logistics Division
  • Directly Liaising with Clients (internally and externally) daily
  • Directly Liaising with Suppliers daily
  • Liaising with regional Warehouse Managers and drivers directly.
  • Planning and reporting of ALL distribution volumes.
  • Tracking and reporting of ALL Movements and POD’s.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Trouble shooting
  • Publishing of Reports
  • Compliance

Salary: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
