A well-established, market leader in the mining industry is looking for a Health and Safety Office to be based at their Warehouse in Boksburg.
The position is for a 3-month contract.
Market related salary (negotiable)
Responsibilities:
- Ensure HSE compliance in the Warehouse
- Perform risk assessments
- Monitor incidents of injury, illness and other situations
- Design strategies to reduce incidents
- Design training programs to provide safety awareness education
- Conduct daily toolbox talks
- Conduct and lead incident investigations
- Conduct health and safety audits
- Generate relevant Health and Safety reports
Requirements:
- Matric
- Health and Safety qualification
- Experience in a warehouse / logistics environment
