Description
The Employee Wellness Practitioner is responsible for the successful execution of wellness initiatives across the firm (nationally) at both individual and team level, under the supervision of the EAP Specialist.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Provision of support with regards to psychological evaluation, intervention, counselling, therapy, development, and implementation of a support plan.
- Design and implement opportunities and guidance that enable employees to engage in effective management of their own physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being.
- Assisting the EAP Specialist in developing in-house policies and procedures
- Develop and Facilitate Wellness Training Initiatives as required
- Develop, facilitate, and evaluate bespoke employee wellness workshops for specific teams/departments/groups
- Assess and provide basic counselling to employees
- Refer employees for further assessment or professional assistance when necessary
- Generate, consolidate, and submit reports and statistics as required by the business
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Qualifications:
- BPsych Degree or an Honours Degree in Psychology
- Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a practicing Registered Counsellor\
- Experience in EAP’s (Advantageous)
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA)
- Registered to practice as a Registered Counsellor
