We are looking for like minded, enthusiastic and passionate people to join our Retail team in Leslieville at 888 Queen St. E.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

  • Warm and professional customer service skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Keen interest to learn Hooked fish cooking techniques and fisheries ecology
  • Strength to lift boxes of 30-50lbs
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

Some of your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure products are displayed and stored according to the appropriate temperature and conditions for fish, seafood and grocery merchandise
  • Learn to filet and handle fish responsibly within Hooked parameters
  • Work within strict sanitation parameters managing a perishable inventory
  • Operate POS system and process payments
  • Properly stock and merchandise all products within the store and storage areas
  • Learn the ecology, biology and issues surrounding both wild and responsibly farmed fish
  • Participate in creating and maintaining a clean and healthy work environment, abiding to a strong discipline of health, safety and hygiene

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
