SwipeRx, formerly mClinica, is the largest network of pharmacies in Southeast Asia connecting over 235,000 pharmacy professionals from 45,000 pharmacies. SwipeRx pioneered the community-driven commerce model that unites the fragmented pharmacy channel on a single platform enabling them to access all the information, education, and medicines they need. From online education to centralized purchasing and logistics, to financing, SwipeRx caters to the unique and pressing needs of pharmacies, a critical public health channel.

To support our mission, SwipeRx is now looking for a Full-Stack Developer Internship (Remote). **We need a highly ambitious and dynamic individual who has the drive to excel. At SwipeRx, people who take initiative and ownership are rewarded significantly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop coding standards, methodology, and repeatable processes.
  • Ensure code and design quality through the execution of test plans.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Use best practices and patterns to deliver high-quality secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • 0 to 1 year experience in Software Development with experience building Microservices, with Node.js/JavaScript (e.g. Express, Sequelize).
  • Experience with modern front-end development (e.g. React, Redux).
  • Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
  • Experience working as a full-stack developer switching seamlessly between server-side and front-end code.
  • Web development experience (e.g. React, Redux, HTML, CSS).
  • Experience with Twelve-Factor App methodology and microservice architecture.
  • Familiar with TypeScript and/or ES6+ is a plus
