About the Role:
We are currently seeking a National PACS Systems Owner to be accountable and responsible for the availability of the Lumus Imaging PACS environment whilst ensuring it meets business requirements.
There will be occasional requirements for afterhours work to accommodate system maintenance, system enhancements / changes and resolution of issues.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Being accountable for the PACS system availability and ensuing the PACS is fit for purpose based on business requirements.
- Understanding the end-to-end technology environment supporting the PACS including technology workflows and high-level system architecture.
- Maintaining the “Development Pipeline” for all requested enhancements to the PACS.
- Governing and administering PACS environment (IntelePACS, InteleViewer, Inteleconnect, InteleBrowser) ensuring adherence to Lumus Imaging standards and agreed architectures.
- Effectively managing relationships and communications with stakeholder.
- Communicating and reporting system activities and metrics to key stakeholders.
- Managing relationships with end-users, vendors, and third-party suppliers.
- Leading the exploration and evaluation of solutions provided by our vendors.
- Managing activities associated with planning and organising meetings required to support the PACS.
- Managing PACS admin privileges and expand our Super User expertise across the business.
- Working afterhours occasionally to accommodate system maintenance, system enhancements / changes and resolution of issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of Radiology Systems including PACS; RIS; HL7; Dicom; Report Delivery.
- Deep knowledge of PACS and associated workflows.
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiology workflows and process (radiologists, technician, clerical and doctor)
- Radiology industry sector knowledge including current technical trends and technologies
- Working knowledge of technology system architecture - networks; hosting and security principles & practices.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Forward planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to identify and utilise opportunities, show initiative and resilience, take action and persevere
- Knowledge of key business drivers and an ability to communicate in business terms
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in Technical System / Application SME / Ownership
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a Radiology environment - technical or otherwise.
- Ideally have experience in administering PACS systems.
