ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishes recruitment requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meets with department heads to discuss staffing needs.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting schools, employment agencies, media, internet sites, and government agencies; attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newgroups and job sites.
  • Conducts initial interviews in person or by phone, written examinations, background investigations; compares qualifications to job requirements to determine job fit.
  • Coordinates final interviews and deliberates hiring decision with HR and requesting department heads.
  • Provides job offers to chosen applicants and advises new hires to comply with all the hiring requirements of the company.
  • Assists in new hire onboarding in coordination with Training & Development Officer and department heads.
  • Recommends new policies and practices pertinent to job offers and compensation practices, benefits and perks to improve organization attractiveness.
  • Sets-up and maintains accurate files including 201 files, and ensures security of records; organizes paperwork and correspondence for fast retrieval.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly working area.
  • Keeps abreast of policy changes and developments involving statutory requirements and new practices on hiring. Engages in on-going educational opportunities to update job knowledge.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May compute payroll of certain group of employees as required.
  • Participates in job fairs conducted by DOLE/PESO, schools and other establishments.
  • Provides assistance during in-house trainings, outreach programs, company visits and other company activities.
  • Performs job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge

A solid grasp of DGCDI business operations, good knowledge of HR management, particularly on recruitment and placement and familiarity with relevant employment law. In depth knowledge of office and records management.

A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology or any behavioral science with at least 6-12 months recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment.
- Skills

Has strong analytical and decision-making skills to properly match employee qualification and job requirement. Solid interviewing ability, hands on experience with various selection processes and recruiting software and HRIS. Must have excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, trainees and managers. With good timekeeping skills, ability to multi-task and is computer literate.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent typically performs work in a well-ventilated and illuminated office and may need to travel to attend job fairs, visit partner schools and conduct on-site hiring in various branches. The employee must be physically able to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, printer, telephone, fax machine among other office machines; reach, stoop, kneel to install computer, etc. With filing activity requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, reach overhead or stand on a stool as necessary, and at times walk to move or carry light-weight objects or materials. Close vision when using computer, light to moderate lifting, and ability to uphold stress of traveling and overtime work is required.

Salary: Php10,000.00 - Php12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary

  • General Santos City, South Cotabato: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
