Job Advert Summary:
Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 1 year in Gardens
• Ability to operate horticultural machinery such as brush cutter,lawn mower and knap sack
• Capable of the work
• Basic safety knowledge and safety requirements ( Safety clothes/Equipment required

Primary Duties:

• General Sites maintenance of landscapes and facilities
• Cleaning sweeping, weeding, watering and planting of plants
• Applications of fertilizers, composts and mulches
• Loading and offloading of goods ,machines, plants, debris etc.
• Use of horticultural machinery, such as lawnmowers,brush cutters and knap sacks
• Grass cutting within Bulk Water Distribution sites
• Support with decoration when required

Knowledge:

• Use of hand tools
• Mower and brush cutters machinery
• Basic plant knowledge

Skills:

• Communications skills ( verbal & written )
• Horticultural skills
