Aem Developer

We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior AEM Developer to join our ambitious team. We work closely as a team: each of us has our own area of expertise and we share knowledge and issues amongst us to make sure we reach the best solution to any problem.

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in software development and maintenance processes as per quality requirements, procedures and best practices.
  • Implementing, optimizing and supervising efficiency of IT systems in accordance with specific standards, resolution or escalation of problems, as appropriate.
  • Drawing up technical documentation and developing knowledge in scope of information technology used.
  • Developing knowledge in scope of best practices and standards of creating software.
  • Developing soft skills in scope of effective communication and efficient teamwork, solution presentation and knowledge sharing to both specialized and less experienced members.
  • Interpreting business cases, preparing specifications and analyzing functional and technical requirements.
  • Designing solutions and creating documentation, estimating individual scope of works and time consumption of works.
  • Within the team and project/services, proactively identifying problems and proposing measures to increase the level of services.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in work related to CQ/AEM development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in work related to Java development in IT sector.
  • Experience in AEM incl. Sling Models, Apache Sling, JCR, Sightly (nice to have), Sling Authentication, AEM
  • Workflows, VLT, Permission model (ACL, CUG, user, groups), JCR-SQL2, OAK Indexing basics.
  • Experience in general software development incl. OSGi (Apache Felix/Karaf), Java, JavaEE (Servlet, Filter, JSP), Groovy (nice to have), Git, JUnit, Maven, REST, Object Oriented Design Patterns, Basic HTML + JavaScript, Apache/Dispatcher, General Network Security.
  • Able to work in team or independently based on the assigned tasks with good communication skills that will be beneficial to both team members and end users
  • Skills to acquire knowledge and put it in practice

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: RM4,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
