The role
The incumbent will be responsible for full spectrum of accounting duties which includes preparing full set of accounts.
Key accountabilities
- Handle full spectrum of accounting functions in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Handle full set of accounts including month end closing activities, financial & management reports and analysis of expenses. This include timely preparation of accurate financial and management reporting to HQ on a monthly basis.
- Prepare GST returns, audit schedules and inter-company and creditors’ reconciliations.
- Implement internal control policies and procedures
- Other duties include liaising with auditors and tax agents
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned
Skills & experience
Essential:
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalents
- Minimum 3-5 years of related working experience
- Conversant in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and / or International Financial Reporting Standards
- Team player and able to work independently in a fast pace environment
- Action oriented, task focused and meticulous
- Willing to be hands on
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- CA Singapore or equivalent preferred
- Experience in group consolidation is an advantage
- Experience in SAP B1 is an advantage
