Manager, Safety & Health

Establish, maintain and improve Safety Management Systems and CSH Fundamental for the Company and conduct regular review and its effectiveness

  • Ensure at-all-time compliance with the company, JSG, corporate and statutory requirements on safety and health, maintain and update the Safety and Health procedures for the Company to ensure legal compliance in Company’s activities
  • Advisor to Company Management on safety and health issues and legal requirements from government
  • Facilitate Behavioural Safety programs to develop culture of safety and develop safe behaviour and reduce at-risk behaviours
  • Formulate and execute the integrated sustainability policies together with the team and implement the corporate Safety and Health standards and guidelines and provide all employees with a safe and healthy working environment
  • Actively supervise the investigation of every serious accident and the corrective action plan
  • Regularly conduct safety trainings to employees and subcontractors according to ESC
  • Set the targets for safety and health in alignment with the business direction and work towards the achievement of all the related key indicators and closely monitor the performance and progress
  • Prepare, monitor and publish company SH performance and statistics, prepare and monitor the SH plan including SH goals, objectives and programs and reports safety statistics, data and analysis to the Corporate
  • Lead the team of Safety and Health Staff and Safety Ambassadors or representatives to perform site inspections, risk and hazard assessments, accident investigations, health and safety review and promotion, safety and health audits, etc.

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Assist OC Head in establishing SH initiatives and VFOs
  • Ensure availability of resources for SH within responsible business function
  • Take leadership in SH aspects with personal involvement
  • Ensure employees and subcontractors comply with Schindler Safety & Health Policy, associated requirements and implement relevant SH initiatives
  • Review Safety Performance within responsible business function
  • Planning and implementation of continuous improvement action

Environmental management system

  • Manage all activities concerning the environmental management system
  • Timely review the effectiveness of EMS processes & procedures
  • Communicate Group environmental objectives with management and operations to create awareness within organization

Mobility needs you**:

  • Bachelor Degree holder preferrable in Occupational Safety and Health
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety
  • Strong commitment to Safety
  • Conversant with statutory and regulatory safety & health requirements
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
