Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform teardown, cleaning, evaluation, painting, testing, repair and service of all relief valves and assist in new production/assembly of new relief valves
- Assist in any/all parts of the relief valve servicing and production processes as required
- Interface with internal and external customers
- Ability to work overtime and weekends to meet customer requirements as required.
- Frequent travel to various locations in Western Canada to support service work on our mobile onsite units or in our regional service centres
- Eventually participate in a 24/7 on call rotation
- Participate in Quality and Safety Programs to ensure industry/ company requirements are always met or exceeded
Qualifications and Skills:
- 960 hours of logged pressure relief valve testing
- Completion of a manufacturer’s training course for servicing pressure relief valves
- Mechanical experience or ability considered an asset
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Proven customer service experience
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Detail oriented with a focus on quality
- Committed to health and safety practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
