The Cartier Regional Water Coop provides high quality, reliable drinking water produced from two separate treatment facilities to a region comprised of 7 rural municipalities with a combined population of 15,000 people. The Cartier Regional Water Coop is an ever-expanding organization with industry leading technology and state of the art facilities that is approaching its
25th year of operation.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of modern Class 3 and 4
Ultrafiltration and Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment systems. Maintain operations of a Class 2 regional Water Distribution system with a multitude of remote stations. Conduct necessary daily water analysis to ensure Canadian drinking water quality guidelines are met. Monitor and control operations through Scada platforms. On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to report to the
Lead operators and Manager. Perform daily collection, entry, and review of operational data for operational monitoring. To achieve this, at times you will be working alone as an individual leader or as part of a dynamic team. Your work efforts will enable the organization to maintain operational excellence and stay committed to the expectations of our end consumers.
Requirements and Qualifications: The position requires an individual to be motivated, a good leader and a self-starter. Completion of a grade 12 education or GED is required for Manitoba certification. Additional education in Science, Mechanics, Plumbing or a related field will be considered. Experience or certification in the Water industry field is preferred, but not essential.
