Fragrance Development Evaluator (6-month Contract)
The Fragrance Development function embodies the role of an expert who translates client brief requirements into perfumery language and product performance expectations for our perfumers to create the right-fit product. Scope includes an active role in the development/evaluation of encapsulated fragrance products & supporting sales teams to achieve their business targets by developing, evaluating and selecting winning encapsulated products for clients’ projects, at stipulated cost targets.
**The Position:
To support functional manager in:
Fragrance & Sensory Evaluations
- Lead, Coordinate and participate the sensory assessment (evaluation session) of encapsulated fragrances along with the team.
- Run encapsulated Fragrance performance tests and expert panels/group evaluations as required for projects. Conclude the findings.
Encapsulation Product Portfolio
- Proactive approach in studying the market trends and developing encapsulated product portfolio, aligned with the APAC customer needs
- Actively participate in the development and promotion of marketing tools for encapsulated products
Technical Know-How
- Learn encapsulation fragrance basics and evaluation protocols through engagement with the Technical team.
- Participate with Innovation and Application teams to analyze technologies and learn about formulations relevant to encapsulated products
Customer Briefs & Project Management
- Contribute towards business by participating in the development aspect of the brief to contract process within a given timeframe and liaising with other departments to deliver winning encapsulated product for the customer projects
- Min. Diploma in Chemistry or relevant field with working experience in Fragrance
- Having prior training in perfumery is an added advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc.)
- Organized, good time management, team player and autonomous
- Technical, analytical and deductive mindset
- Open-minded, diligent with positive attitude and eager to learn
