Job Description:

  • Roles & Responsibilities: _
  • Ensure the overall running of the pastry/bakery department and responsible for the proper efficiency and profit and cost functioning of product matrix
  • Willingness to adapt and implement key baking matrix to handle production, able to Train and bring knowledge through experience
  • Comfortable working with the "KING OF FRUITS"
  • Train team to uphold the company’s standards in food hygiene and safety practices in the kitchen area
  • Assist in the preparation and production of the company’s products (baking and decorating of cupcakes, whole cakes and/or cookies, tarts, choux pastry preparation of ingredients, setting up of baking utensils and equipment, & packing the products for delivery)
  • Maintain a proper food costing on all merchandise utilized to minimize food wastage
  • Check all 'mis-en-plus' and quality of merchandise prepared in the bakery room
  • Ensure proper storage of all perishable material accordingly to the First-in-First-Out Policy
  • Assign and plan duties of Junior Bakers
  • Place emphasis on R&D projects for new products for key yearly events.

  • 6 days work week, Monday to Saturday, 8am-6pm
