Administrative Assistant

OPPORTUNITY

Western Forest Products is currently looking for an
Administrative Assistant to support our HR department in Nanaimo, BC.
The term will likely be for 3-4 months with possibility of extension.

Who You Are: We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience in a professional setting. You have a positive attitude, are friendly and approachable, and can work independently with a high degree of accuracy.

Work Environment: This role is to be performed in person at our Nanaimo Corporate Office, with all safety protocols in place.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General Administrative duties
  • Perform daily filing, scanning and archiving of employee documents
  • Perform other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail, high accuracy and dedication to delivering high quality work on time;
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Accountable and dependable
