Human Resources Administrator
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for supporting the management of the organization’s human resources, which includes recruitment and selection, employee orientation, disability management, health and safety, performance management, HRIS and compensation/benefit administration. The Human Resources Administrator is also responsible for providing the management team with administrative support.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. **Assist in recruitment & selection of employees
2. *Contribute to the human resource needs of Community Living including *HRIS, onboarding, employee transfers/terminations, disability programs, and compensation and benefits
3. **Review and recommend updates to policies and procedures including recommendations for adjustments or changes as required to conform with current legislation and best practices
4. **Assist with administration of collective agreement and labour relations
5. **Maintain strong working knowledge of applicable human resource legislation and human capital management practices and trends.
6. **Provide administrative support to management
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- College Diploma or Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
HOURS OF WORK
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility in hours of work may be required in order to meet the demands of this position.
