Skills we can’t do without:
With a solid academic background (min. Master’s Degree), ideally supplemented with another diploma held abroad, you have in-depth knowledge of business law, especially in the field of IT and payment institutions.

You already have 3 to 5 years of successful experience in law firms and/or legal departments, ideally in an international environment. You have worked on complex IT matters dealing with both private and public contracts.

You have strong skills in the following areas in particular:

  • Contract law ;
  • IT law;
  • Intellectual Property;
  • Personal Data Protection;
  • Skills in public procurement law would be a strong advantage as well.

You must have a very good knowledge of legal and business English, both written and spoken.

Being fluent in Portuguese will be a key differentiator

You are rigorous, operational, autonomous and organized and have good writing and interpersonal skills. Motivated and responsive, you appreciate teamwork and have a strong work capacity. Curious, you appreciate the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. You have a great ability to work closely with other lawyers in Spain but also in various countries (Europe, Latin America, Asia) as well as with other Group functions (finance, human resources, investor relations, etc.). Gifted with a practical mind, you can adapt and seek pragmatic and effective solutions. You are familiar with working in project management mode. You will be able to be a key element demonstrating a spirit of sharing and exchange with other lawyers but also with the other functions of the Group.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal Iberia of Worldline, you will participate, within a legal department of 3 people in Spain and 109 people worldwide, in the missions of the legal department in connection with the other functions of the group and in particular with:

  • Analysing legal needs in close collaboration with the sales and project teams;
  • The negotiation of IT service contracts (BPO, SaaS, Agile, outsourcing, consortium agreement, partnerships, etc.);
  • Ensuring compliance with the Group's internal rules and procedures;
  • Contributing to the improvement of the Legal Department's tools;
  • Research, studies and drafting of information notes for the attention of the Management;
  • Ensuring a regulatory watch in connection with the various business lines of the Worldline Group.
