A start-up Investment and Wealth Management firm based in Midrand is looking for a passionate and hardworking Junior Investment Analyst to join their investment team!
Salary: circa 240K per annum
Non-negotiable Qualification and Experience required
- Honours level degree (NQF 8) with a major in Investment Management/Actuarial Science/Economics/Mathematics or Statistics/Risk Management
- Experience in financial services/investment management will be advantageous, but not required:
- Understanding of economics, financial markets essential, and financial products such as unit trusts advantageous
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills
- Strong technological skills and proficient in MS Office (especially Advanced Excel)
Responsibilities will include:
- Portfolio analysis and reporting
- Portfolio risk management
- Portfolio management system and tools development
- Quantitative and qualitative fund manager research
- Quantitative modelling
- Market and economic research, analysis and reporting
