You will be part of SI’s Global Strategy Team and lead some of the most important strategic and M&A initiatives in our business. There are interesting initiatives with high business impact waiting for you, ranging from accelerating SI’s advances in SW and digital / IoT, shaping how SI goes to market, growing in the SI core business and in adjacencies,By leading some of our highest-stakes initiatives, you will play an important role in making SI the best SI for our customers, our people, our communities, and our owners.
Your new responsibilites
Shape and implement strategy by leading of important strategic projects at Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
- Shape key questions to be answered and / or outcome
- Define desired project deliverables and draft an effective project plan and teaming
- Take intellectual lead of solving the problem and / or implementing the desired outcomes - together with the project team
- Lead people in the project teams and empower the team to deliver
- Drive project execution, ensure delivery in time and quality
- Draw clear conclusions and make pragmatic recommendations on way forward
- Communicate outcome in a clear, concise, and compelling manner towards senior management - in written and oral formats
- Ensure implementation of project recommendations and resulting business benefits for SI
Your skills
- Strong ability to structure, analyze and solve complex and cross-functional problems and get to ‘so-what’ to our business
- and to implement solutions in a global matrix environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, great at sharing findings and implications
- Very good facilitation and interpersonal skills, able to understand what people want and why, influence their opinions, get them along
- Strong drive to get things done, well-structured and transparent project execution
- Example backgrounds: e.g., senior consultant, project leader in consulting or business
- Education: Master’s degree or higher
- Flexibility: Post-covid, able to work 2-3 days / week ideally in Erlangen, Munich or Zug area
