We are a very busy full-scale Oakville restaurant featured on the Food Network specializing in pizza with burgers, salads, craft beer, and wine. We are hiring for many positions in both front and back of house. We are expanding our operating hours to include lunches.

We like to joke around and laugh a lot. It's important to us to have fun while we work because laughter makes everything better and we would like someone who feels the same.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
  • Following prep lists created by chefs.
  • Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Assisting chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise.
  • Supervising food and cooling room temperatures.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
  • Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked.
  • Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
  • Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
  • Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
  • Stock inventory and supplies.
  • Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
  • Will train to handle ovens to cook pizzas

Requirements:
Smart Serve or previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Shifts will be 2-5 evenings a week. We are open for lunches and need day shifts.

We are currently closed on Mondays but need people available in the evenings on the other days. Since we leave late, between 10:00 - 11:00 pm, we would prefer someone who doesn't have to travel too far for their safety when they're tired.
