Wingtra provides efficient and reliable data solutions to a variety of industries ranging from mining, construction and agriculture to humanitarian organizations, environmentalists and wildlife monitoring groups.

We look for an excellent mind who wants to take responsibility for the finance team at Wingtra. You will be part of the executive team and lead a team with a junior Finance Manager, an Office Manager, and an external bookkeeper. You will lead the continuous adaptation of the global finance infrastructure (HQ Zurich, subsidiaries in Miami and Zagreb, active in 80+ countries) to the given needs on Wingtra’s growth journey. And work with the CEO and founders in fundraising activities.
Responsibilities:
- As part of the management, you report directly to the CEO and lead a team of 2-4 Wingtranauts
- You are leading the financial perspective of our planned growth journey
- Investor relations, working together with existing investors and build-up of the pipeline of future investors
- Leading Dilutive and Non-Dilutive fundraising activities
- Treasury: managing working capital (liquidity, collections and payments, short-term debts)
- Budget control: producing investment and operational budgets at regular intervals for efficient decision-making
- Supporting the implementation of our new ERP Odoo together with our COO
- Driving the development of company policies and procedures (order to cash process), optimizing organization (systems of record architecture) and founding new legal entities.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent degree with a focus on finance and accounting
- 10 years + of experience in finance & accounting
- Former leadership responsibility in a venture-backed company, working at an investment firm, scale-up experience (or equivalent)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to prioritize well
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills / able to work with state-of-the-art tools.
- Ability to stay calm and handle a wide array of tasks
- Reliable, independent and well-organized
- Strong sense of culture and leading by example
- Complex project management skills
- Business fluent in English is a must, and German is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel in relation to fundraising activities
