Your future plans
As part of the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in the Group Cyber Security department you will:
- Gather, evaluate, detect and report cyber security threats for the whole company of RWE
- Keep track of the constantly evolving field of IT and OT security, anticipate significance for the company and make sure the CSIRT is up to date
- Initiate counter measures after detecting indicators and trends for an upcoming attack on the company
- Create advisories, newsletters, reports, situational pictures and communications for management, departments, IT security and employees
- Provide analyses and information for investigations on fraud, legal, compliance and security cases in the digital area
- Engage with digital forensics, red team, SOC and operational IT security to improve cyber security
- Build new technical solutions to improve threat intelligence
Your powerful skills
- Certificates (i.e. GCTI, CTIA or CISSP)
- Several years of experience in cyber security and advanced knowledge about APTs, networks, malware and vulnerabilities
- Secure handling of Linux and common security tools (i.e. MISP, sandboxes, CRITs or the HELK)
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python
- Fluency in German and English
